Dolphin Watch is an open, airy third-floor unit in a two-unit Oceanfront condominium. You can spend your mornings having coffee on the oceanfront deck with spectacular ocean views while watching dolphins play in the Atlantic Ocean. The home has vaulted ceilings, a large kitchen with an island, and a Viking Range, making it a dream to prepare meals for your family. After a day at the beach, spend some time relaxing in the oceanfront living room, decorated with bright colors and style, where you will find a large flat-screen TV, wet bar, and stereo system. The master bedroom offers a king bed as well as an ensuite bathroom with a garden tub and separate shower. The second and third bedrooms both offer two singles. When you are ready for adventure, Dolphin Watch is just a short drive from the Virginia Beach resort area and boardwalk. Here you'll find plenty of shopping, restaurants, and live entertainment. Take time to visit the King Neptune Statue or go fishing off of the Virginia Beach Pier. Whether you want to relax at the beach or take in everything Virginia Beach has to offer, Dolphin Watch is perfect for your family of six. There is a shared charcoal grill.

We had another lovely vacation/family reunion renting both Dolphin Watch and Dolphin's Den. We loved the view and find it amazing that we can fit everyone in one house in the North End with a beachfront view as a bonus. We used 7 bedrooms this time, but have needed all 8 in the past. We also have more family that live not too far from these houses so the location is perfect for us.If you look at the price, these rentals are expensive, but you get a lot for your money: plenty of beds, bathrooms, and living space, well stocked kitchens, great views, porch swings, extremely short walk to the beach, a stop light at the intersection with the main street, linens included, and a rental company that will come if something needs fixing. There are some quibbles: for the amount we are paying some mattresses need replacing especially the king one on the middle floor and the internet does not work well for the master bedrooms. Not a huge problem for us, but easily fixed with a signal booster or network of some sort. We also never figured out how to get the ceiling fan in the living area to turn on.This was our third year and we hope to come back next year. We have to switch weeks though so we won't know until later this summer. Fingers crossed.

Loved the views of the Atlantic from this top floor unit. The vaulted ceiling in the main living area gave a great sense of spaciousness. Unit had virtually everything one could need for cooking with modern appliances. The decor was dated and could definitely use a refresh. Beds were ok. Secondary bathroom also was dated. But we still enjoyed ourselves.

What a great place.I would like to have it for my very own.The elevator is a little scary but it does work fine. The view is to die for. It's great having a garage.I left notes on the table in the foyer.The TV was our biggest challenge.But the microwave came in as a close second.Fabulous kitchen overall.Check on bulbs throughout…

We had issues with the elevator not working. The Atkinson Staff did all they could do to get a repairman to look into the problem. Other than that, the place was great. Good A/C (important in July) and the ocean view was super.

We rented both floors of this house and this was perfect for our extended family reunion. We were able to have one floor quieter in the morning and had plenty of space for the whole gang to eat on one floor as some could eat at the table and others on the couches or on the porch. The elevator was a nice touch as several in our family have mobility issues. We had a couple of minor issues with the house and Atkinson was very helpful resolving the problems. We also liked that there was an indoor staircase available that connected the floors if you rented both condos. We hope to be back next year in these same condos.

Very nice home. I would suggest fixing the railings on the balcony and getting new patio furniture. Some of the railings were broken and furniture had some rust. Great view and the home was furnished with everything you need for a week at the beach. Would stay here again!
