Hurricane Matthew - Notice #1

Hurricane Matthew - Notice #1
Currently in Virginia Beach it is 70°, mostly cloudy with winds out of the NNE at 18 mph.

As of 5:00pm Tuesday October 4th Hurricane Matthew continues to be a Category 4 storm, with sustained winds of 140 mph and is over the eastern tip of Cuba.  From there the forecast models show a general north/northwest track towards the southeastern US. However, there is still a lot of uncertainty and we will have to wait and see what the next few days shows. Currently there are no watches or warnings in effect for Virginia Beach, but that is expected to change over the next 24-48 hours. If Virginia Beach were to be affected it looks as if it would happen sometime between late Friday/early Saturday and Monday.

We will continue to update the information as the storm progresses, have a great day!
